Tim Vicary

Tim Vicary is a skilled educator and writer who has contributed a number of titles to the Oxford Bookworms Library. Many of his books belong to the Thriller & Adventure collection, including White Death at Stage 1 and Skyjack! at Stage 3. He has also written for the True Stories series, with works such as The Coldest Place on Earth, which recounts the competition between Scott and Amundsen to reach the South Pole, and The Elephant Man, the story of a lonely man whose life changes after meeting a doctor. Outside his writing career, he is a father of two and enjoys caring for animals, including dogs, cats, and horses. He lives and works in York in northern England. In addition to his graded readers, he has published two full-length novels: The Blood upon the Rose and Cat and Mouse.
